Our Salt fog Chambers are
studied for the accomplishment of the existing normative for
corrosion testing, in a controlled environment. With this
generation of equipment it is possible to ascertain the consequences
of organic and inorganic treatments on metallic surfaces,
and to value possible corrosive effects emerging under aggression.
The realisation of SSC Chambers is the result of a deep knowledge
of the whole normative currently available regarding "accelerated
corrosion".
These equipment are studied to perform continuous tests, cyclic,
multistep, fully compatible with procedures: ASTM, DIN (SS,
ASS, CASS), ISO, UNI (corrosion test underfilm: in bubbles
and filiform), AFNOR, PROHESION, BS, GM, CCT, MIL, RENAULT,
FIAT, VOLKSWAGEN, FORD, NISSAN, BMW, JIS…

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL STRUCTURE : |
Structures are built with
inert material, without any metallic part which may interfere
with the test (stainless steel, aluminium, brass) and assuring
the conformity to national and international standards.
Thermostatic intercapedin ("Water- Jacket") with
indirect heat and uniformity of temperature in the internal,
with energy saving, in conformity with technical standard
ASTM B 117.
Reinforced deposit for solution, with capacity of 50 litres,
allowing a rehearsal autonomy for 5 days consecutive, (120
hours); auxiliary connections to tanks of bigger capacity.
The deposit is equipped with an automatic mixer, by means
of which the operator can prepare the solution inside the
deposit.
Humidification and heating of air by means of "Bubble
Tower", with a regulating valve, manometer, spray nozzle
to attain a higher precision of temperature and humidity inside
the Chamber.
The pluviometers gather the fallen solution to direct it into
two external collectors, allowing a continuous measurement
without need of opening the cover that would interrupt the
test.
Compensating outlet for the condensation exhsaust.

COVER : |
Cover with small vane, anti-dropping,
reinforced on side and with transparent window. Provided with
automatic opening and safety system, avoiding overheating
during the inspection inside the chamber and preventing any
damage to the Bubble Tower and to the Chamber itself.

TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY REGULATION : |
Programmer for cycles (99)
with two steps (Fog/Dry), loop repetition (999), digital microprocessor
and precision of 0,1°C, sensor PT 100 Ohm, DIN class A,
autotuning PID for Bubble Tower.
Digital stop timer. The operator can program the rehearsal
time, planning to stop the Chamber automatically.
Hours counter with battery back-up for the reading of the
test duration.
